Where Veterans Go Forward
Education Assistance
Use Your Education Benefits

Many Veterans enlisted in the military knowing full well that they will be attending college or other forms of
education after completing their military service.  As a nation, and as grateful citizens, it is our duty to ensure
all our Veterans who want to further their education get the opportunity to do so.

The G.I. Bill, now known as The Montgomery G.I. Bill, is one of the greatest pieces of legislation passed in
the United States of America.  Through this legislation, our country invested in our most honorable
Americans and the future of this whole nation by funding the higher education of our Veterans.  As an
organization, we encourage our veterans to use their education benefits.  As a grateful nation, we are
indebted to your service and, as a result, provide education benefits, such as the Montgomery G.I. Bill, as a
sign of gratitude.  Further your lives as you have so heroically furthered our nation.

However, for many soldiers, the process of pursuing higher education or using their military education
benefits, can be extremely confusing and discouraging.  We believe this is unacceptable and aim to assist our
Veterans in education enrollment.

Enrolling into a College or University

There are many steps involved in enrolling to college or university.  For starters, you must have taken a
standardized test, (usually the SATs) to even apply.  Then, actually choosing what schools you would like to
apply to is another step.  Each school may have different acceptance criteria, so you must apply to each
school independent of any other.  The application process can be very
different depending on which types of schools you are applying to.  You must be very careful in following
the instructions, because schools that receive many applications tend to disqualify applicants immediately if
they fail to fully follow the instructions.

If you are a Veteran and you are seeking for help in anything from selecting a school to the actual application
process, please

Attending Classes

However, the transition from military service to a classroom setting can be very challenging.  The change in
lifestyle, for many, can  be too difficult of a transition, making some Veterans fall short of achieving their
goals.  Therefore, we inform schools on specific needs of our Veterans and encourage schools to make
accommodations in order to make the learning process as easy and comfortable as possible.

If you are a Veteran that believes your school does not create a comfortable or dutiable environment for
Veterans to learn and excel, please
click here so we can encourage your school to create a Veterans Affairs
program that understands the unique challenges a soldiers student or Veteran encounters.
