2008-2012. The G.I. Go Fund is a 501(c)(3) charity organization.
Over 600 companies, schools, municipalities, and
government agencies took part in landmark “Jeans for
Troops” Drive for the GI Go Fund and raised over $175,000
for veterans.

devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, and will continue

featured over 75 companies, colleges, and support
services, as well as over 500 vets looking for work following
the impact of Sequestration and Hurricane Sandy to
countless veterans and their families.

Sequestration and Hurricane Sandy Fill GI Go Fund’s
5th Annual Veterans “Job and GI Bill Fair” in Newark
William S. Greenberg, a retired General in the NJ National
Guard and a senior partner at the McCarter & English law
firm, was appointed by President Obama to serve as the
newest Judge on the US Court of Appeals for Veterans
Claims.

Making a Difference” at the 17th Annual Award Ceremony
held by the Russell Berrie Foundation at Ramapo College
for his innovative, smarter government approach to
Veterans' services.

In a surprise ceremony on the Anniversary of Victory in
Europe (VE) Day Newark Mayor Cory Booker, French
Consul-General Bertrand Lortholary, and The GI Go Fund
return dog tags to Willie Wilkins, a Newark Resident and
Army Veteran of WWII who lost them in 1944 while fighting
Nazis in France; Wilkins was also presented with the NJ
Meritorious Service Medal.
